WELCOME

3/18/08 - Two updates today:
A Texas-themed poster with suits and snakes for The Bowery Presents' 2008 SXSW showcase featuring Nada Surf, Tapes 'N Tapes, Dr. Dog and more
An e-card for the book 'X Saves The World', which we actually enjoyed quite a bit.

3/03/08 - Sports?
Our lack of actual athletic ability is made up for this month with all the sports-related projects we've been working on:

For boxing, there's 'Orthodox Stance'; we've got football and lacrosse covered with new media kits for some pro athletes, and there's always the steroids stuff. But we're guessing that our own time spent staring at computer screens all day won't get us any closer to an Olympic medal. Still we persevere.

In much less athlethic news...

The British Sea Power game/microsite is finished, as are several other new e-cards.

Finally, some really fun band t-shirt and poster designs are nearly ready to unveil.

1/24/08 - Lots going on
and it's not even the end of January...

Thriller (yes, that Thriller) is celebrating its 25th anniversary, and we've been asked to develop a custom e-card for the release. See it on the e-cards page.

UPDATE: We also just completed a Thriller commercial, which should start showing up on TVs throughout Europe and the rest of the world very soon.

In other news...

Biirdie's 'Catherine Avenue' is now in stores and getting tremendous reviews. Buy it.

'Orthodox Stance' is also receiving accolades from just about everywhere. The film opens this week in New York. Go see it.

Other projects are in the works for British Sea Power, Keith Sweat, Al Jarreau, and so much more. Stay tuned...

12/29/07 - Happy holidays
All the best from our house to yours...

We're incredibly excited about some of the projects we have in the works for '08. More on those later.

For now, new designs are up, including websites for SHAUN ASSAEL and MICHAEL ANDREWS.

11/20/07 - Where to begin?
Between JOY DIVISION, EMMYLOU HARRIS, ETHAN RUSSELL, FALCON, BIIRDIE, VARIETY SHAC, and all the other fantastic projects on which we've been fortunate to work, the summer and fall have flown by. And a hearty hello to all the new clients we've started working with over the past few months. It's a pleasure to welcome you to the family.

There are just too many specific pieces to mention here, so take a look around and see all the good stuff that's now on the site.

And as the holiday time approaches, here are two great new books that I can't recommend highly enough:

Taken By Storm

I had the great pleasure of meeting Storm Thorgerson recently, and this collection shows off why he's truly a legend. Open the book to any page and you'll be awed by the master of the album cover design.

The Art of the Band T-Shirt

Classic band t-shirts from the past 50 years. Amazing stuff in here, and I don't say that just because it's written by my dear friends Amber and Henry, or because I did all the production work on this. The Springsteen section alone is worth the price of admission.

7/03/07 - slowly updating
way too many projects lately... here are a couple posters from some excellent new documentaries currently making their way around the festivals:

orthodox stance and la santa muerte / saint death

when we get a chance, we'll upload samples from recently finished work for the uk band 1990s (e-card), arkansas singer christopher denny (website), nyc singer liz tormes (cd package), and a bunch of non-entertainment print work
